Synopsis:
The Power Rangers meet the latest evil force sent by Astronema to destroy them, the Psycho Rangers. During their first battle, the Psychos read the Rangers' minds so that they could know them and predict their moves, making defeating them much easier. In Angelgrove, a new organizer, the Copernicus2000, becomes very popular. One of the sounds on the organizer sounds just like the Ranger's communicator, leading the Psychos on a wild goose chase all over town for rangers. The Rangers discover this, only too late because Zhane was captured after using his communicator. The Rangers head to the old library where Zhane was being held, but they were stopped by an invisible wall. They use the Megatank as a decoy so that they can morph and take down the wall. But the Psychos are too fast and they appear in front of them before they have a chance to enter the library. Inside, Zhane uses pottery pieces to cut himself loose. Outside the library, after a short battle in which the Rangers get the beating of a lifetime, Astronema pulls the Psychos out of the fight. She later reveals that she wants to destroy both the Rangers and Dark Specter so that she can become the evil monarch.
