Synopsis:
Karone
is made the honorary purple ranger. Dark Specter threatens the Rangers
and tells them to return Astronema or the Earth shall be destroyed by a
giant asteroid programmed to stay on course.
The
rangers try many ways to stop the asteroid, including firing at it nad
surface detonating it, but nothing works. Karone volunteers to go
back aboard the Dark Fortress to reprogram the asteroid. There, she
is attacked by a newly programmed Ecliptor before her mission is complete.
The Rangers try the last resort of pushing the asteroid with the Megazords.
Soon, the asteroid begins to enter the Earth's atmospher. Meanwhile,
hysteria on Earth leads the Professor, Bulk, and Skull to launch off the
Earth on an experimental space craft...
