Synopsis:
Andros practices to ask Ashley out on a date, only to find her with Zhane. Andros misunderstands the scene and becomes angry at his best friend. Meanwhile, Darkonda creates legions of monsters in his lab to destroy the Rangers. One of the monsters attack a beach on Earth, causing everyone there to develop rashes. The Rangers fight off the monster, and Zhane demorphs towards the end of the battle. Darkonda warns the Rangers of more to come, so they start scanning for his lab. Finding it, Andros forces Zhane to stay behind as the Rangers head out to destroy the lab. Zhane decides to go anyway, but is attacked by Ecliptor. Fearing that he'd drain all of his powers, Zhane fights Ecliptor for a while before morphing and sending him over the cliff into the water below. Arriving in Darkonda's lab in his Silvercycle, he destroys it and frees the Rangers. Their tasks become divided as the Rangers use their zord to defeat one of Darkonda's monsters while Zhane takes care of the remaining one. The Rangers succeed, but Zhane again demorphs as the monster blows up. Back on the ship, Zhane forgives Andros for over-reacting and Andros asks Ashley to go with him to see Haley's Comet. Zhane calls Alpha to the engine room to tell him about the problem with his morphing powers.

Bloopers:

Carlos tells Zhane that he shouldn't demorph on the beach because other people might see him. All the people who were attacked by Darkonda's monster and was still at the beach did see him.
