Synopsis:
The Phantom Ranger discovers that Dark Specter is holding Zordon on the planet Hercuron and sends word to the Rangers to go help him.  Before the Rangers arrive, Piranhatrons begin attacking the Phantom.  Then, Astronema's Quantrons and Ecliptor join the fight.  Meanwhile, Dark Specter takes Zordon off the planet to prevent him from being saved.  The Rangers soon come to the Phantom's aid, but not in time to prevent Ecliptor from wounding him badly.  Astronema lures the Rangers away from Hercuron by attacking Earth while Dark Specter's ship escapes with Zordon.  The Phantom reveals to Andros a disk that will allow him to control the Delta Megaship that transforms into the Delta Megazord.  The Red Ranger goes to retrieve the ship while the others defend the Earth with the Astro Megazord.  The Phantom tries to guide Andros once he is inside the Delta Megaship, but he loses consciousness.  Andros successfully activates the Delta Megaship and arrives just in time to save his friends.  Together, the megazords destroy the monster.  Returning to Hercuron, the Rangers find no trace of the Phantom except for a message beacon.  The Phantom Ranger tells them that he has gone to continue the search for Zordon, and ends the message with a private one to Cassie.  Knowing the Phantom Ranger is safe, the five teens leave the planet.

Bloopers:

  • the message that the Phantom recorded on the planet and the one that was played on the ship have inconsistent endings; his position and timing is different when he said "Hurry"
  • major continuity problems when Astronema's forces arrive to fight the Phantom Ranger

    • - when Astronema first appears, there is no one behind her
    - suddenly, tons of Quantrons and Piranhatron appear behind her
    - the piranhatron soon disappear and reappear along with Divatox coming from the other side
  • the Phantom's suit is completely fine after the rangers come and leave...there was no footage of Ecliptor cutting the him
  • the Delta Megaship has the ugliest interior ever...looks like an old power plant or something
  • the Phantom must repair pretty fast...the cut is gone in the message at the end
